Manchester's Northern Quarter is about to get even more delicious. This month sees three new independent restaurants opening their doors across the neighbourhood, adding to what is already one of the UK's most exciting food districts.

First up is Levant & Lime, a Levantine-inspired grill taking over the former Soup Kitchen space on Stevenson Square. The team behind the venture previously ran a successful pop-up at Ancoats General Store and are now ready for a permanent home.

Next is Pour, a natural wine bar and small plates restaurant opening on Oldham Street. They'll specialise in wines from independent European producers alongside a menu of seasonal British ingredients.

Finally, Dai Pai Dong is bringing Hong Kong-style street food to a compact unit on Dale Street. The owner, born and raised in Hong Kong before moving to Manchester, wants to bring authentic dai pai dong culture to the city.
