Parklife is the country's biggest metropolitan music festival and one of the defining moments in Manchester's summer calendar. Two days at Heaton Park, around 80,000 people each day, and a 2026 lineup that includes Calvin Harris, Skepta, Sammy Virji, Zara Larsson, Andy C, Wilkinson, Shy FX, and dozens more across multiple stages.

How to get there

Trams run every 6 minutes from Manchester Victoria to Heaton Park on the Bury line during the day. Use the Heaton Park Metrolink stop, located near the West Gate entrance. Post-event, Heaton Park stations close from 9pm to manage crowds, so use Bowker Vale stop instead. Parklife also runs a dedicated shuttle bus from Aytoun Street for £5.50 each way.

Parklife started in 2010 and has grown from a small event to the biggest metropolitan music festival in the UK. The 2026 lineup is one of the biggest the festival has ever announced.

What's nearby

Heaton Park itself is the venue (one of Europe's biggest public parks). The surrounding area is mostly residential. Best plan: head back into central Manchester or to Prestwich for post-festival drinks.
